Cool Pineapple Cake

This is actually an orange cake with pineapple icing. "Cool," I think, because of the Cool Whip icing.

[Mandarin Orange] Cake

• 1 Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
• 4 eggs
• 1 can (small) mandarin oranges, juice and all
• 1/2 cup oil

Beat well. Pour into 3 layer pans. Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes.

Split layers horizontally, if desired [that is, to make 6 layers], and ice.

[Pineapple] Icing

Mix together:

• 1 large container Cool Whip
• 1 large can crushed pineapple, juice and all
• 1 box instant vanilla pudding
