Bread and Butter PuddingI haven't seen suet in bread pudding before. And this looks like it would be pretty good with cubed bread and fruit mixed together, without the suet or layers. I keep telling myself I need to try this just to see what proportions work best, but that hasn't happened yet. Layer alternately in bowl until it is nearly full:

To test pudding: stick a knife to bottom. If it comes out milky, it's not done; if greasy, cooked. |
