Raisin Bars

The card looks like Gramma Moore's handwriting, but Mom doesn't remember Gramma making these. She thinks the recipe is from Liz Elgarten.


Mix well. Cook slowly, stirring until thick. Cool.


Cream butter and sugar, add dry ingredients, then oats.

Press mix in a 13 x 9 pan spread with filling, pat on remaining crust with back of spoon.

Bake at 400 for 2030 minutes. Cool, cut in squares.
