Brownies

This is probably from the recipe chain letter. The sender wrote: "This recipe is very quickly put together. Just a few minutes. The brownies are of the chunky type—very good. Hope you like it!"

• 1 cup sugar
• ½ cup melted butter
• 2 squares chocolate, melted
• 2 eggs
• ½ teaspoon salt (scant)
• ½ cup flour
• 1 cup chopped walnuts
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Bake in shallow pan in 350º oven for 20 minutes.
