Aunt June's Unbaked Cookies

Grace and I have no idea who Aunt June is. Grace guesses it came from an office recipe exchange. But when I spent a summer housesitting with my college friend Ellen in Mason, MI, she made these (addictively good) cookies or something very like them pretty frequently.

• 4 tablespoon cocoa
• 2 cup sugar
• ½ cup milk
• ¼ cup butter
• ½ cup peanut butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 3 cup quick oats

Mix sugar, milk, butter, cocoa. Boil 1 minute. Add peanut butter and vanilla. Stir until melted. Add oats. Mix. Dump on wax paper.
