Apple Cake

The vanilla icing calls for Dream Whip (a powder that you mix with milk and vanilla). You can substitute whipped cream (or Cool Whip if you want non-dairy).

Cake

Combine

• 4 cup apples, sliced
• 2 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• ½ cup oil
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 cup chopped nuts

Sift together

• 2 cup flour
• 2 teaspoon soda
• 1 teaspoon cinnamon
• ¾ teaspoon salt

Add dry ingredients to the first mixture. Pour into a greased oblong pan. Bake at 350º for 50 minutes to an hour.

Topping

• 1½ cup milk
• 1 box instant vanilla pudding
• 1 package dream whip

Beat about 5 minutes.
