Fruit Cocktail Dessert

From the Extension office.

Mix together:

• 1 can (1 pound) fruit cocktail
• 1 egg, beaten

In a separate bowl, mix:

• 1 cup flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 teaspoon baking soda

Add dry ingrediants to the fruit cocktail mixture. Pour into a 9 x 12 inch pan.

Mix

• ¾ cup brown sugar
• ¾ cup chopped pecans or walnuts

Spread nuts over the dough. Bake at 300º for 1 hour.
